This Brand Didn't Start With Clothing... It Started With A Gap
A gap in safety with women's flame-resistant clothing options for women working in FR-required environments, especially during pregnancy and postpartum. Matriarch Workwear isn't just another workwear brand, it was built to correct what the FR industry has overlooked and underserved for decades, by serving women working in demanding industrial and trade environments with FR apparel that will compliment and move with them through all stages of life.
Designed by a mother and electrical engineer, who was also formerly an industrial field electrician, Matriarch is grounded in real-life, on-the-job experience, not assumptions. Every garment design we produce is engineered with women's differing bodies in mind, to offer real movement, true comfort, and uncompromising safety.
We exist because we believe women should never have to choose between protection, comfort, compliance, and dignity at any stage of life, especially in the journey during, and after motherhood begins, where comfortability gets harder to find.

Most workwear is designed for men and resized for women. Matriarch starts with real women's bodies in mind, accounting for wider hips, rise needs, inner thigh reinforcement, added support for security and stretch for real movement, so garments fit correctly, perform better, and feel right on the job. Built by someone who's actually done the work, that real-world experience drives our design decisions that only someone who's been there would think to make.
Pregnancy & Postpartum Are Not An Afterthought
Women don't stop working and needing safe uniforms and PPE when they become pregnant. Matriarch's initial focus is in maternity friendly and postpartum accommodating designs with extended rises, supportive flex panels, and functional utility features that adapt to what we need, without compromising safety or dignity. The days of having to "make-do" with your old PPE and wear it incorrectly or unsafely for it to fit your pregnant belly, is over.

We're not making fashion pretending to be PPE. Every design is developed with flame-resistant rated components and proper construction methods in alignment with industry standards like NFPA 2112 & ASTM F1506. Compliance isn't just a marketing term here, it's the baseline of what we provide.
